Who we are

What we collect

When you use the quote tool or the contact form we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode and whatever you tell us about the job. If you become a customer we also hold records of the work carried out, certificates issued and payments made.

Why we collect it

To give you a quote, carry out work you have asked for, meet our legal obligations around gas safety records, and keep the accounts. We do not sell your details to anybody and we do not pass them to third parties for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after twelve months. Customer records are kept for six years for tax and warranty purposes. Gas safety records are kept for at least two years as the regulations require.

Who we share it with

Only where it is needed to do the job: boiler manufacturers when we register your warranty, building control when we notify an installation, and our finance partner if you apply for credit. Each of those holds your data under its own privacy notice.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything wrong, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Email us and we will action it within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this website, for example which pages are visited and whether someone taps to call us or requests a quote. Analytics cookies are only set if you tap “Accept” on our cookie message. If you choose “No thanks”, no analytics cookies are stored and Google receives only anonymous, cookie-free signals. We do not use advertising cookies and we never sell your data. To change your choice, clear this site’s data in your browser and the message will appear again.
